My favorite locations
There are so many beautiful locations to be photographed in South Carolina! I have some favorite spots that I like to frequent with my clients. Here are my top locations to photograph in surrounding areas local to Great Falls, Rock Hill and Lancaster in South Carolina (and some North Carolina spots as well).
Glencairn Garden
This is a stunning park nestled in Rock Hill. A true gem to the area, the park is filled with full flower bushes, cascading trees, bridges over a pond and fountains. Whether I'm photographing a senior, couples or an extended family, this park really has all the landscape options you could need.
Small town downtown
I love photographing in downtown areas of small towns. Although large cities are beautiful, you can't run into the middle of a street very easily to take a photo. Some of my favorite downtown areas are in the towns of Lancaster, Rock Hill and Waxhaw (NC). You can get everything from graffiti buildings, cityscapes, railroad tracks and small shops.
Flower Farms
There are a few different farms and flower farms in York County and Chester County that I work with. These are really beautiful for high school seniors, individuals and couples. The farms all provide rows and rows of different varieties of flowers. Starting in March you can get your photos on a Farm in York County where there are literally tens of thousands of tulips. In June you can get a variety of wildflowers and zinnias from a Chester County farm. There are also sunflower field options and cotton field options in the fall. Starting this spring, I'm so excited to also host sessions at a Peach Blossom Farm in Monroe, NC
